Samuel Moyn - Istoric american (născut în 1972), doctor în istorie europeană modernă (University of California, Berkeley, 2000), doctor în drept (Harvard Law School, 2001), profesor de istorie, timp de 13 ani, la Columbia University, profesor de istorie și drept, timp de trei ani, la Harvard University, actualmente profesor de istorie, jurisprudență și drept la Yale University; din 2024, șef al Grace Hopper College. Cofondator și coeditor al periodicului interdisciplinar Humanities, coeditor al revistei Modern Intellectual History. Specialist în istoria intelectuală europeană modernă, gândirea politică și juridică a epocii moderne, dreptul constituțional și internațional, studiile evreiești.
